Market Restaurant will open in early March on N. Blount Street just north of downtown with a philosophy of "Local Ingredients, West Coast Inspired"...Natty Greene's will open their Raleigh location on Monday March 15th in Glenwood South ...Angus Barn's week-long wine celebration will conclude with a wine tasting this Sunday from 3:30-5 pm and it is free...Listen up Paula Deen fans, her Saturday show in Charlotte has been postponed...The owners of Capital Club 16, at 16 W. Martin Street, recently confirmed that they will be opening this spring. No hard date yet...Savoy Restaurant has its own iPhone application! It can be downloaded free from the Itunes store. Pretty slick...April 24-25, 2010 are the dates of the 15th Annual Piedmont Farm Tour. If you've never gone, you really should...If you are in and around downtown Raleigh the week of your birthday, stop by the Spize Cafe on Fayetteville Street for a free entrée. Just bring your photo ID... We are sad to announce that due to failed lease negotiations, Bacaro's Food & Company Catering has closed. Our best to Ken and Alix on finding new space...and soon!...Burger King is getting it their way, raising the price of its double cheeseburger from $1 to $1.19. That jingle won't work anymore... And finally, this week Chef James Yott Boyle took over from David Mao at the Duck & Dumpling. Don't expect many changes though (thank goodness!).
